Hearing Impaired Woman Struck by Smart Car

November 20, 2011 -According to reports a hearing impaired woman was struck and injured Saturday morning.

According to authorities a woman that is hearing impaired was struck at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the vicinity of the intersection of Fountain Avenue and Sunset Boulevard.

Police stated that the woman that was struck was transported to the hospital with possible head and neck injuries. The extent of her injuries and condition were unknown at the time.
The vehicle she was traveling in was struck on the driver’s side of the car causing the mirror to break off from the impact by the smart car.

The other driver involved in the collision cooperated, according to police.
